Staying in Monza: the practical guide for guests
This page brings together the practical information for a stay in Monza in an Easy Housing apartment: what to prepare before you arrive, what to know about the area and the rules to keep in mind. For getting around and for an itinerary there are two dedicated guides, linked at the bottom.
Before you leave and on arrival
- Arrival instructions: check-in and check-out times, access to the accommodation and parking are in your confirmation and in our messages.
- Documents: we ask for a valid identity document for every guest, children included.
- Parking: if the accommodation has a parking space or garage, it is stated in the listing.
- Arriving without a car: Monza station is served by the S7, S8, S9 and S11 lines and by regional trains.
The area: what Monza is like for guests
- The historic centre is compact: the Duomo, the Arengario, the pedestrian streets and the restaurants are all within walking distance.
- The Villa Reale and the Park are north of the centre; the Park has entrances in Monza, Vedano al Lambro and Villasanta.
- The Autodromo is inside the Park: on race weekends, check traffic, roads and buses.
- Milan is close by train, arriving at Porta Garibaldi or Centrale.
Things to keep in mind
- Tourist tax: it applies per person per night for up to 20 consecutive nights; amounts and exemptions are set by the Comune (municipality).
- Follow the accommodation's instructions for separating your waste for recycling.
- Emergencies: 112.
- Non-urgent medical care: 116117 in Lombardy, with the out-of-hours medical service (Continuità Assistenziale) and the tourist medical service (Guardia Medica Turistica).
- Check the rules for cars and the limited traffic zones in the centre and the Park.
